Take your practice to another level. Incorporating yoga philosophy, history and spirituality in this
sacred vinyasa series. Led by Master Teacher Jacqui Bonwell this class incorporates a strong physical
practice coupled with an intermediate spiritual practice. The yoga sutras, the energetics of yoga and
the teachings of other great yoga masters will be incorporated into this class. Jacqui was a teacher
at Metrowest Yoga a few years ago and has since done workshops and kept strong ties to the community.
She is thrilled to be back in the community on a regular, monthly basis and to be able to reconnect
with the spirit of her students. Metrowest students not only have a strong physical practice, they are
open and excited for the education of all aspects of yoga—especially spiritual! (highly recommended
for teachers or potential teachers)
Sangha is Sanskrit for “spiritual community” The support and mutual interest of a community is considered
a tenet of a variety of different practices. Through Sangha we remember our connection to those around us, and
are able to feel the invisible web that binds us. Framed by Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras this YogaSangha group will
be an opportunity to gather with other members of the community, and explore Yoga’s Eight Limbs and how these
can be used as tools to support us in our daily lives. The group will follow a suggested curriculum (covering
topics ranging from Sutra study, living a yogic life while being a vibrant member of the modern world, developing
personal practice), and allow community members to connect, reestablish commitment to their goals, and nourish
and nurture their personal practice using all Eight Limbs as a foundation.

The Art of Alignment and Assisting Yoga Training
with Chanel Luck and Roberto Lim
Saturday Mar 13th, 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Sunday Mar 14th, 12:00pm - 4:00pm

As practitioners, you understand the power of an assist in any posture; a simple direction or light touch can create new
energy and meaning in your body. This weekend workshop will provide you with the tools needed to shift your own personal practice
and allow you to contribute to others' growth and personal evolution.
Tap into the expertise of seasoned teachers and assisting pros, Chanel Luck and Roberto Lim. Chanel and Roberto currently assist
for Shiva Rea, and have assisted for Ana Forrest and Baron Baptiste. They travel national and internationally, teaching and assisting students
of all levels and body types. With thousands of hours teaching and assisting experience, they recognize the inherent art of flow - the
shared dance and necessary relationship - that is created between assistant, teacher and student. Like the yoga practice itself,
assisting is not something that you learn from a book.
In this workshop, you can expect to learn:
- Key alignment for major asanas and anatomical explanations
- Hands on techniques and assists
- Injury prevention and modification
- Development of trust and skilled touch
- Assisting in a simulated flow class
As an active participant of this workshop, your personal and teaching practice will be enriched and supported. We expect you to
bring all your powers of patience, self - motivation and open - mindedness to this course. Seva (selfless service) is an inherent quality
of assisting. A generous and humblenature, or the desire to develop such qualities, is a prerequisite for this course.
This workshop will empower you to directly contribute to the sacred space where you teach or practice being a positive
influence and helping others on their journeys of healing, magic, and transformation.
