Learn the Fun of Arm Balancing

with Shawn Shaw

Saturday July 11th,  1:00pm - 3:00pm

Arm Balances with Shawn

On an intuitive level, anybody can see that the ability to do arm balances requires integration of strength, flexibility and equilibrium as well as body awareness and a calm mind. This balancing is so unusual and so uncommon in our daily life that it creates the illusion of impossibility.

This illusion is also the obstacle to performing and yes…actually enjoying Arm Balancing. In the process of learning these seemingly silly “tricks” you develop confidence, courage, strength, concentration, a deeper awareness and a renewed commitment to practice. The impossible is now possible. Everyone can learn to do Arm Balances with the proper guidance and instruction.

Shawn will provide that instruction and make it fun and exciting!

Cost is: $30.00

Learn the Excitement of Inversions

with Shawn Shaw

Saturday Aug 8th,  1:00pm - 3:00pm

Inversions with Shawn

In addition to the health benefits that inversions can bring( good for the lymphatic system, the heart, the lungs, etc... see the article in yoga journal http://www.yogajournal.com/practice/214?page=4 ),  it also helps us reconnect to our courage and ability to stay calm in a challenging or fearful moment.  But it is important to learn the correct way to set up these asanas(poses) to prevent injury.

This workshop will teach you the proper alignment for setting up and working your way into headstand, forearm balance, handstand and shoulderstand. The afternoon will be intriguing and loads of fun.

Cost is: $30.00

  or      Pay Later

If you would like to take both above workshops with Shawn the cost is only $50.00
