Yoga & Creativity: A Two Part Series with Pam Esty

Yoga and Creativity:

A Two-Part Series with Pam Esty

Do you feel creative, yet sense there is more waiting to be expressed? Do you believe you are “not creative,” but feel a quiet curiosity stirring?

Yoga & Creativity is a nourishing two-part workshop designed to reconnect you with your innate creative nature. In yogic philosophy, creativity is understood as a natural life force—Shakti, the energy moving through us, and Prakriti, the living intelligence of nature. From this perspective, creativity is not something we manufacture, but something we learn to listen for and allow.

In times of uncertainty, our access to creativity becomes especially important. It helps us stay open, responsive, and connected, supporting resilience and our ability to imagine new ways of caring for ourselves and one another.

Through asana (yoga postures), breathing, intuitive movement, and creative expression, we will explore how creativity lives in the body. These practices help quiet the inner critic, soften habitual patterns, and restore contact with the subtle rhythms where creative expression naturally arises. Together, we will examine what holds us back from our natural gifts and how our beliefs around creativity can begin to shift.

This workshop is open to everyone. No prior experience with yoga or art is required—only curiosity and a willingness to explore creativity as an embodied, lived experience.

Note: Please bring your own journal. All other art materials will be provided.

Join us for the full two-part series, or for either session individually.

Cost: $55 for both sessions or $30 for one session

Saturday, April 4 & Saturday, April 25

2:30 – 4:30 PM
